Prevent Falling

For many older people, the fear of falling is a constant source of stress. Unfortunately, this anxiety isn’t unfounded. In fact, one in three people over the age of 65 falls each year. These accidents can result in fractured bones, broken skin, and even traumatic head injuries. If you have an aging parent, grandparent, or neighbor in your life, helping them reduce their risk of falling is a great way to help them stay healthy and independent as long as possible.

The good news is that there are many things older people and their caregivers can do to prevent tragedy. Our mission is to help ease some of the stress seniors face so they can enjoy every moment of life. That’s why we’ve put together the following list of resources for fall-prevention education.
